JANEAN (5) could only manage seventh last start over 5f at Gayndah, beaten 5 lengths. Has a superb record at the course, unbeaten so far from three starts. Sure to run well. MEDIA EMPIRE (1) caught the eye last start over 5f at Emerald, coming from well back to finish half a length from the winner in third. Form at this track is solid. Leading contender. DOUBTING EYE (3) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 3/1. Has a good record at this course and distance, including four wins. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. LEADERSHIP SPILL (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 17 when beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth at Mackay over 5¼f. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
