KATHY'S BEAU (2) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by a long neck over 6f at Mackay. Will be better for that latest run and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. CONNEWARRE (7) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 6¾f at Warwick a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. I PROMISE YOU (5) is racing well. Scored at Warwick in a then finished second, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 6¾f at Warwick at the latest appearance a week-and-a-half ago. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. BENCOOLEN (3) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 7 lengths, at Eagle Farm over 6f. Well placed and should be thereabouts.
