VERB (5) couldn't have been more impressive when resuming last start when he scored by 4 lengths over 5f at Delta Downs (Dirt). Fitter for that last hitout and he looks hard to stop again. HARD CANDY (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. SUITABLE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 8 lengths when seventh over 5½f at this track four weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. STARBURST (3) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt), finishing 12 lengths back in seventh. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
