HANGIN' TUFF (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Nicely placed to take this out. MACHO GRANDE (2) finished fourth two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Likely to be there at the finish again. BOUGIE JOE (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
