SHATTUCK (3) returns from a long lay-off and tackles a turf track for the first time. Opened last campaign with a sixth at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) over 6f. Leading contender and expected to go close. MAGNA TAP (5) is close to breaking through with four placings from eight outings this campaign, last time out finishing second over 7½f at this track (Turf). Great chance to take this out. LEAR (7) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 7f at this track (Dirt) last start, scoring by 0.3 lengths. S Elliott was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run. AARON (2) broke his maiden last start over 7½f at this track (Turf), scoring by 2.5 lengths. Re-unites with F Wethey Jr who was on board last start. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
