Likely improver with strong prospects. HOLCOMBE (2) returned from a break of four months and finished third over this course and distance last time out. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is a leading contender. VESTES (7) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 6 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt) last time out. Has been in the money at all four starts this campaign, including a win. Has to be respected. WHISKEY WITH YOU (1) scored a 4 length win on turf at Louisiana Downs two starts back. Disappointed in another run on turf last time at Louisiana Downs over 7½f when 4 lengths from the winner in fifth. Well worth another chance returning to the dirt this time.
