RIDEN THE LEGEND (7) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 8 finishing fifth and beaten 8 lengths over 7f at this track (Dirt). Has switched to the Marti Rodriguez stable. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. BIG BRAVE OKIE (2) returned last time with a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 6f after being in the firing line on the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to take this out. ZIM'S TRANS AM (4) is on debut for the Joe S Offolter stable. Three-year-old gelding by Lord Nelson from Natalie's Mischief.
