ZAVALA (5) got the prize two runs ago at Lone Star Park. Not as effective last time out when third over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. COUSIN LARRY (7) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 1m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BIG CITY (4) comes here off a break of four months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 7f at Gulfstream Park. Now under the care of new trainer H Ray Ashford Jr. Worth plenty of thought. BLING MOUNTAIN (8) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 2.25 lengths back in third over 6f at this track (Dirt). Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up.
