BROWN RESERVE (1) went forward last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt) and held on well for third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. AUNT LOTTIE (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 6f at this track. Tackling a more suitable race so she can play a big role. CHARMING OAKIE (4) is back from a break of two-and-a-half years. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when seventh over 5f at Lone Star Park (Turf). Has switched to the Jaime Castellanos stable over the break. Yet to miss the top three here in five starts. Strong claims on his best form. EL BLAZE (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on October 19 finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths over 5f at this track (Turf). Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Makes plenty of appeal.
