This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. GRANDSONSAM (7) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 2.75 lengths away in fourth over 7½f at this track (Turf). Will drift back but is going to be hard to hold out. JUDGE MCBEE (4) ran a bold race over this journey when resuming last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 6 lengths away in second in stakes class at this track (Dirt).
