COTTONWOOD (4) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fifth over 1m1/2f at Lone Star Park two months ago. S Elliott gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. INTERSTELLAR (1) got the prize two runs ago at Lone Star Park. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 1m at this track, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GO SPEED RACER GO (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fifth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1m at this track (Turf). Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. PEPPER JACK (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 21 when beaten 7 lengths into fifth at Louisiana Downs (Turf) over 7½f. Going up a level this time but he cannot be underestimated.
