MISS CODE WEST (3) is having her first run since May 27. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins from two runs, the most recent over 1m1/4f at Sam Houston Park at the start of last prep. Can return in winning form. XYNGIN SPITFIRE (2) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by one length over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Fitter for that last hitout and looks a big threat to the top selection. DEVIOUS DIVA (5) was a placegetter on dirt over 1m1/4f at Prairie Meadows in a but missed the frame on turf over 7½f at this track last time. Strong contender back on the dirt. RAINBOW ANGEL (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 22 lengths away in tenth over 6f at Fair Meadows. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
