ATC Sires' Produce Stakes winner MANAAL (1) finished third behind Ameena in the G2 Silver Shadow Stakes at this track over this distance when fresh from a break last time out. Has a very good record here including three wins from five starts. Sure to be there at the business end. Group 2 winner AMEENA (2) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a nose over 6f in the G2 Silver Shadow Stakes at this track. ZEITUNG (9) finished fifth, beaten 0.7 lengths, last time out over this course and distance after coming from an outside draw. Among the better chances. Multiple Group 3 winner DRIFTING (3) was an impressive when resuming winner last time out in an easier race over 5½f in the G3 Quezette Stakes at Caulfield, getting home by half a length. Will be better for that latest run and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
