SHOHEI (8) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a third last start over 6f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Zac Lloyd gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Looks well placed so expect another big run. Group 1 winner DYNAMIC SPIRIT (1) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Fitter for that last hitout and he is a major player again. UNION ARMY (11) worked home well and finished third last time over 5½f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. CONTEMPORARY (6) continued a frustrating run for connections when a close second over 6f at this track last time. Has a win and five minor placings at this trip from eight starts so he is sure to be in the mix again.
