LATIGO ELLIS (2) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 5½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Has ability and can get off the mark. MARKING CANYON (4) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at this track (Dirt) in a tougher race. Likely improver so he should be in the finish again. MAGIC STORM (5) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.1 lengths from the winner in third over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Likely improver who is among the better chances. ATTILA'S ACE (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 5½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
