AGIRLSBESTFRIEND (9) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.5 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Going up a level this time but she deserves plenty of thought. TINKA'S LAD (5) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Kembla Grange after being prominent at the turn. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. BELIEVE SO (7) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into eighth over 6¾f at Ipswich. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is one of the key runners. FRAPPES (12) bounced straight to the front from the rails draw and led until straightening before finishing fifth over 7¾f at Grafton last time out. Can sneak into the finish.
