REDSTONE WELL (1) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage seventh, beaten 6 lengths, at Newcastle over 1m3 1/2f. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. BEAR ON THE LOOSE (4) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 1m at Randwick when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.5 lengths. Steps up a level but he is capable of a big run. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
