SHIKANIC (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish third over 5½f at this track. Ready to go a couple better. LANCELOTTO (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 2 lengths into seventh. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. STAKE A CLAIM (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when sixth in a 5½f contest at this track four weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BROADWAY LANE (1) finished fifth last start over 5½f at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Solid top-three prospects.
