FETCH (7) finished 11th over 5½f at Caulfield at her most recent appearance on October 18. Expect her to play a major role. RELIABLE RUBY (8) resumed three weeks ago over 5½f at Ipswich and was only beaten 0.8 lengths into fourth. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Strips fitter and can figure prominently. PERSEIDS (4) returns after a seven months lay-off and looks forward enough following a Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial win. Form this track is hard to knock with two wins from five starts. Shapes as one to consider. WINSIDE (2) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Doomben. Well placed to make amends.
