BESS' CANDY (1) broke through for her maiden win over 5½f at Laurel (Turf) last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and a bold showing is expected. IRISH COCO (4) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Laurel after being in the firing line on the bend. This doesn't look as hard so she is sure to prove hard to beat. WARRIOR'S DEFENSE (5) is back at the races for the first time since July 25. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. Definite top-three chance. MY HONEYBUNCH (2) could only manage fifth on dirt over 6f at Monmouth Park in a then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 1m1/2f at Meadowlands more recently. Better than recent form suggests and worth including back on dirt.
