BOSSA NOVA LAD (10) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Narromine, beaten 5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Has a solid second up record. Nicely placed to take this out. JOSHUA (11) produced a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at Dubbo over 1m3f. Right in the mix. JUST BOOGIE (8) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m2f at Canberra last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Kembla Grange the run before. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. FINAL COMMENT (7) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Canberra over 1m2f. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
