THE LEGAL FACTOR (11) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 4 lengths over 5f at Dubbo. Can get off the mark this time. TROPICANA'S CUBE (8) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5f at Dubbo when second, beaten 4 lengths. Promising type with improvement to come so he will be hard to beat. CALMUNDI (1) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Gulargambone, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. DIAMOND SUN (2) finished third over 7f at Gulgong at his most recent appearance on June 9. One to consider.
