MAL COUPE (7) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight before tiring to finish fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths over 5f at Hawkesbury. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. ALINEA (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 5f at Hawkesbury. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. DEEP EMOTION (13) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 6f at Kembla Grange, beaten 3 lengths into sixth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is sure to be prominent. THE MAIN EVENT (6) is in the right form, last time out finishing second over 5½f at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
