EARL OF DEVON (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a neck over 1m at Sapphire Coast after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SYCAMORE (4) turned things around last start and scored by 2.5 lengths over 6¾f at Braidwood. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
