DENMAN STAR (2) tackled city class latest when fourth at Canterbury, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner. Won't find this assignment as tough. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. ICONIC TREASURE (3) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 0.8 lengths over 6f at this track as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three runs. Sure to go well again. RIP OFF (9) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark three runs back, the latest effort a second over 6½f at Wyong. Yet to break through at this journey but has placed at all four tries and is one of the prime contenders. SPANISH FOX (6) flew the gates and led throughout to score by 1.75 lengths last start over this journey at Hawkesbury. Top strike rate at the journey with two wins and two placings from four starts and is one of the better hopes.
