CITY GOLD READY (1) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 7½f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. AL RAS BLUES (3) ran below expectations last time after being prominent on the turn at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 7/1. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is right in contention. LADY GOLD (6) is close to breaking through following a narrow defeat last time over 1m at Wyong. Can measure up again. BLAZING Set Weights ORD (11) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Hawkesbury over 1m1f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
