GLOBAL ENCOUNTER (6) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 5.5 lengths away in eighth last time out over 7f at Tuncurry two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but a bold showing is expected. EXTREME FREEDOM (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when sixth over 1m at Sapphire Coast two weeks ago. Has the class to figure prominently. IDEEL HERO (9) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CANTRELL (3) was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track at his latest appearance. No surprise to see him in the frame.
