MASTER DANDY (3) won a course and distance novice before finishing second tackling an inadequate trip at Wolverhampton. Big player on handicap debut. Last start 7f Southwell winner GRANT WOOD (7) finished third over this course and distance the time before. Up 4.4lb now but looks primed for another big run. The reliable DARK SIDE THUNDER (5) is only 1.1lb above the mark from which he won at Kempton during November. Course winner SIR MAXI (9) is back to a reasonable rating. Managed to win the last time he attempted this journey.
