SPECULA (9) fought on for second last start over 5f at Warren, making it three minor placings in a row. Settles close to the speed. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. YOU LITTLE NIPPER (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¼f at Tatura, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the bend. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. GREAT SOUTHERNLAND (11) resumes from a lay-off of four months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 5½f at Forbes. Opened last prep with a minor placing at Tamworth over 5f. Leading player on best figures - bold showing expected. JOHNNY BOZ (3) is returning from a lay-off of 11 weeks. Finished sixth at Cranbourne over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jane Clement.
