I'M EUGENE (2) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 6f at Ascot, finishing tenth and beaten 7 lengths. Has the class to take care of this field. JUST FOR MARCUS (1) started at 13/2 last time on the back of a win at York two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 7f at Pinjarra Scarpside. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. ST JOHN (4) comes here off a break of 11 weeks. Scored over 6f32yards at Albany to launch the last campaign. Makes plenty of appeal. WEAPON OF CHOICE (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 5f207yards at this track. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
