RICH MINX (13) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of five months. Closed last campaign with a eighth over 6f at Doomben, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Looks set for a bright return. UP THE COUNTRY (16) debuted seven-and-a-half weeks ago when she finished fourth over 6f at Gosford, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. DASHING HOPE (10) strode forward early from her wide draw when resuming last start over 5½f at Doomben then fought on gamely to finish third. This doesn't look as hard so she is a major player. LAYDOWNLILY (12) resumes from a lay-off of four months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 5f at this track. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial. Solid top-three hope.
