NORTH OF ELI (3) is a talented gelding who was well held last time out in the tougher Daybreak Lover Plate won by Exotique Miss over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten 5.5 lengths into 12th. Will appreciate this easier race. MISSION RIDGE (1) started at 11/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Beaudesert over 6f after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. CRITICAL TIME (2) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a head over 5f197yards at Grafton. Fitter for that last hitout and is expected to run well again. ECHO SUNSHINE (11) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 11th over 5f197yards at Grafton after being prominent until the final stages. Can fill a top-three spot.
