FOURTH SPARGO (5) scored last start by 0.8 lengths at this track over 5f21yards. Excellent record here having never missed the placings in three starts, including two wins and one placing. Best form puts her right in this. GORUSH LIGHTNING (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 7f38yards at this track, beaten 9 lengths into eighth. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including three wins. Worth noting Olivia Chambers goes aboard. Likely improver with strong prospects. GOGOL (1) has switched yards since finishing fourth three-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Canberra Acton. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SCOFFA (8) finished 2.6 lengths away from the winner last time at Wagga and drops in the weights. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Not to be discounted.
