MIGHTY MYRTLE (7) accounted for a maiden field over 6f at Queanbeyan last start, finishing 0.7 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jack Martin was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Big chance to go back-to-back. FAR TOO HOT (11) got the prize two runs ago at Boorowa. Not as effective last time out when third over 6f at Canberra Acton, beaten 9 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. BONUS TEMPUS (5) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 6f at Queanbeyan, finishing third and beaten 2.5 lengths when he made late ground. Likely improver with strong prospects. MUST (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well when returning from a break last time at Queanbeyan, finishing third and only 0.9 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f. Well placed and should be about the mark.
