TEWKESBURY (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m5f at Ballarat after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. MORNINGTON PIER (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1m2f at Ballarat, beaten one length. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be underestimated. LAVISH THINKER (1) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1m3 1/4f at this track, finishing third and beaten half a length after being prominent at the corner. Has the ability to take this out. CHOSEN MISS (8) lines up on the back of a 2 length fifth over 7¾f at this track. Expected to feature.
