CHAKADO (5) finished 1.2 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at this track when fresh from a lay-off as 6/4 favourite. Steps up in distance. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. CAPULET (3) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fourth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Warrnambool then improved and scored as favourite over 7f at Wangaratta two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. BOONDOCKS (2) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten 3 lengths. Going up a level this time but he cannot be ruled out. ROGUE ROCKER (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 7f at Murray Bridge. Likely improver with strong prospects.
