THUNDER SHOC (14) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing seventh over 5¼f at Morphettville at the latest appearance on March 23. Fitter for a placing in a recent trial. Ready to open her account. RICH LADY (8) finished second last time out over 5¼f at Balaklava, making it six career minor placings. Has a solid record at this journey, finishing in the money on five occasions. Will find this tougher but expected to measure up. DE JANEIRO (2) is a very nicely bred gelding on debut, by Cable Bay from the black type mare Feels Like Home. Scored at only trial over 5f at Strathalbyn. Profiles well and looks a contender. BULLEYES (17) returns from a lay-off of 11 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when seventh over 6f at Bordertown. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
