LA CASONA (2) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 7f at Sandown-Hillside, an improvement on her seventh at Sandown-Lakeside the run before. Nicely placed to take this out. THE GOLDEN FIST (3) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time, scoring by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn out a bit but he is a solid top-three hope. RICHE D'AMOUR (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 5¼f at Morphettville, beaten 2 lengths into seventh. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. FALANGHINA (6) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish 11th over 7f131yards at Morphettville. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
