QUANAH (3) remains unbeaten after two starts, scoring again last time over 6¼f at this track. Big chance again. THUNDER AWARD (5) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. One to watch for in the closing stages. SIX STARS (8) was safely held when fifth last time out over 6¼f at this track, beaten 5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at Gawler at the previous outing. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. COUNT OF TOULOUSE (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 16 when beaten 2 lengths into fifth at Ballarat Synthetic over 6f. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race.
