BIT OF A REBEL (7) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 7f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. WILLYBEAFACTOR (3) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 7½f at Gawler, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a win at Morphettville at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MEAN FEAT (8) finished 1.5 lengths behind the winner in second over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic last start after lifting strongly to score in a. Harder here but is one of the contenders. Multiple Group 3 placegetter CROWN MINT (5) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 7f152yards at Morphettville, beaten only one length. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
