SIGN FROM ABOVE (1) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from four outings. Sure to go well again. DARCEANDERMILL (12) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 5f at Moe, beaten only a nose. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. LADY SIMONE (13) was given a short break after finishing fourth over 5½f at Morphettville. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial at Balaklava. Rates well and looks a definite each-way chance. MERCHANT BOSS (3) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when seventh and beaten 3 lengths over 7f at this track. Has a solid record at this circuit. Among the top-three hopes.
