NICISH (14) has recorded two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Produced another good effort last time out when second over 6f at Gawler after she was in the firing line all the way. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is right in contention. SIX STARS (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Gawler three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. LONGER ROUTE (5) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing eighth over 7f at Balaklava at the latest appearance on October 18. Winner of a recent trial. Sure to be competitive. GEEIJO (3) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4½f at Murray Bridge. Settles back early but winds up late. Not to be discounted.
