WOMEN IN UNIFORM (13) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just half a length away in second over 1m at Moe. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. VERY GRATEFUL (9) is a two-start maiden who placed on debut then could only manage ninth last start, beaten 6 lengths over 7f at Sale. Better than the last effort and deserves another chance. SOHO PRINCESS (12) missed the placings when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. PAPAL ARMY (3) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing eighth at Cranbourne over 6½f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Expected to do more.
