MINTMAN (2) finished fourth over 7f at Cranbourne at his most recent appearance on May 17. Rates highly and should take some beating. UNRIDDLE (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 13 lengths away in ninth over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton after being prominent at the turn. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. GRACEFUL MIST (11) is a 11-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at her latest appearance over 6f at Seymour. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. STEEL IMPACT (12) resumes from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6½f at Cranbourne. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
