Group 3 placegetter JUST BERRILLIANT (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1m1/4f at Flemington after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Cherry-ripe now and is the one they have to beat. GLENS TOP CAT (3) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing second over 1m at Swan Hill when he was always up in the leading division. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Sure to be about the money. BOX VALE (15) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 9 lengths when seventh in a 7¼f contest at Tatura nine days ago. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. PIERCING SKY (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m2f at Ballarat, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
