Group 3 placegetter HIT THE ROAD JACK (2) just missed last time when a long neck away in second in the G3 Archer Stakes at Flemington over 1m4 1/2f. Sure to feature again. GOLDEN CRUSADER (4) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2 lengths at Sandown-Hillside over 1m4f. Tackles a much tougher assignment but is expected to be in the finish. SIR LUCAN (1) multiple Group 3 placegetter. Is backing up quickly after finishing in the money in the G3 Newcastle Cup over 1m3 1/2f just nine days ago. Nice run last time and must go in the numbers. THINK 'N' FLY (5) fought on for second last start over 1m4f in the LR City Tatt's Club Cup at Randwick, beaten 4 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Likely improver with strong prospects.
