Multiple Group 3 placegetter STAY FOCUSED (2) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher Poseidon Stakes won by Growing Empire over 5½f at Flemington, beaten 9 lengths into tenth. Blinkers applied so a bold showing is anticipated. STANLEY EXPRESS (3) settled back before coming home strongly to score on debut over 6f in The Showdown at Caulfield five months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Cranbourne trial. Likely improver who should run well again. STOLI BOLLI (6) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6f here last time. Warrants plenty of respect. GALLANT SON (8) is back from a lay-off of three months. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, scoring in a 5½f contest at Sale by 6 lengths. Sure to measure up.
