SCODELARIO (8) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1f at Horsham a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to hold out. RHINESTONE RORY (3) failed to figure again last time over 1m at Strathalbyn, beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth. Won't find this as tough. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. SPECIAL SPOT (5) settled well back from a good draw last time before getting home nicely to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m4f at Bendigo. One to watch for in the closing stages. DETORON (6) went forward over 1m1f at Horsham last time but found one better. Do not underestimate.
