ATLANTA'S ACUNA (5) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.3 lengths over 1m1/2f at Aqueduct (Turf). Shaping up nicely and he can go on with it. AMERICAN HALITE (3) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. PARTY NEWS (4) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track. Big run is expected. MAD MAGIC (1) was a most impressive maiden winner over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) last time out, scoring by 6 lengths. L E Perez was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run.
