IVAN (3) finished 4.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at Port Lincoln two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Expected to be in the finish. ARTISTIC GAL (8) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 4 lengths away in fourth over 7f at Mildura. Sure to prove tough to stop. PAULSIN (9) turned in a decent effort last start when she made late ground to finish third over 6f at Mildura. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. SAZERAC (11) turned in another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Balaklava. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
